Set out below are the Terms under which Captain John Manders provides maritime & offshore oil industry consulting services. 1). $ 2,000 retainer payment required at time services retained. Invoices for services and expenses shall be paid at the address shown above within thirty (30) days of receipt of invoices. 2). Professional
fees for service will be billed to you at the rate of $ 200.00 per hour for all productive billable hours
worked on your behalf, including inspections.
The rate for court testimony and deposition testimony is $ 250.00 per
hour. Hours spent between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. standing by close at hand waiting to testify in court will be charged at $ 25.00 per hour. (Such as standing by in a hotel close to the courthouse waiting to be called)
3).
Local Travel Time driving my own vehicle on your business will be charged
at $50.00 per hour, door-to-door. Local means between Charges for Travel Time outside of
this local area are negotiable before travel is undertaken.
4). All
expenses incurred in connection with work or travel performed on your behalf
shall be fully reimbursed by you. Domestic
business class rate air fares shall be prepaid by you. 5).
Flights to and from destinations outside of the Continental

This agreement may be terminated by either party at any time, but you understand and agree that in the event you terminate this agreement, you shall do so by giving notice thereof to the address set forth hereinabove, and you shall remain liable for service fees and travel expenses incurred through the date and time of receipt of such notice of termination. 7). During and after the Term of this Engagement Capt. Manders will maintain in strict confidence and utmost secrecy all data and information to which he has had access or to which he may be exposed in the course of performance of services.
